25.1.10.030 Improper Opening of Doors

It is violation for any person to:

(a) Open a door of vehicle on the side near moving traffic unless:

(1) It is reasonably safe to do so; and

(2) The door can be opened without interfering with the movement of traffic; or

(b) Leave a door of a Vehicle open on the side of the vehicle near moving traffic for a period of time longer than necessary to load or to unload passengers.
