Resolution No. SI-R22-017: Approving and Adopting the Pueblo de San Ildefonso Comprehensive Land Use Plan of 2022
At a duly called meeting of the Council of San Ildefonso Pueblo on the 20th day of October, 2022, the following resolution was adopted:
WHEREAS, the Pueblo de San Ildefonso (Pueblo) received $50,000 from the New Mexico State Legislature in 2018 to "Design and Construct Phase 4 of a wastewater collection system (IGA Number 609-18-C2364); and,
WHEREAS, on July 27, 2021 per House Bill 296, Laws of 2021, Chapter 139 Section 72, funds were reauthorized to "Plan and Develop a Comprehensive Land use Plan" (IGA Number 609-21-F4070); and,
WHEREAS, IGA Number 609-21-F4070 to "Plan and Develop a Comprehensive Land Use Plan" expires on June 30, 2023; and
WHEREAS, on November 30, 2021 the Pueblo entered in to a Contract Agreement with Sites Southwest LLC, Santa Fe, NM, to complete the Comprehensive Land Use Plan; and,
WHEREAS, Sites Southwest, LLC has worked with the Pueblo's Programs and Administration over the past nine months and has completed the final draft of the Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP); and,
WHEREAS, the Pueblo de San Ildefonso Tribal Council approves the Comprehensive Land Use Plan with the intention that the Plan is a working document serving as a short and long-term planning guide for the Pueblo.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council hereby enacts the attached law entitled "APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE PUEBLO DE SAN ILDEFONSO COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE PLAN OF 2022."
APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE PUEBLO DE SAN ILDEFONSO COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE PLAN OF 2022
Section 1.1. Short Title
This enactment shall be known as the "PUEBLO DE SAN ILDEFONSO COMREHENSIVE LAND USE PLAN OF 2022."
Section 1.2. Purpose
The purpose of this resolution is to approve the Comprehensive Land Use Plan of 2022 for a short-term and long-term planning guide for the Pueblo.
Section 1.3. Findings
The Council hereby finds and declares that:
(a) the Pueblo de San Ildefonso (Pueblo) received $50,000 from the New Mexico State Legislature in 2018 to "Design and Construct Phase 4 of a wastewater collection system (IGA Number 609-18-C2364); and,

CERTIFICATION
The foregoing resolution was duly voted upon by the Council on October 20, 2022, at a meeting with a vote of 8 in favor, 0 opposed, 0 abstaining and 2 absent (Governor presiding and not voting) pursuant to the authority vested in the Council by the Agreement of the Pueblo de San Ildefonso.

Resolution No. SI-R22-017 was presented to the Governor of the Pueblo de San Ildefonso on the 20th day of October, 2022, pursuant to the governing Agreement of the Pueblo de San Ildefonso ("Agreement"), GOVERNOR, Sec. 4(c), and will become effective after signature by the Governor or veto override by the Council.
