Resolution No. SI-R20-024: Extension of Grant Application and Authorization Act of 2018

At a duly called meeting of the Council of San Ildefonso Pueblo on the 24th day of November, 2020, the following law was adopted:

WHEREAS, the Pueblo de San Ildefonso Tribal council passed the Grant Application and Authorization Act of 2018; and,

WHEREAS, the Act limited the time effect of the act to the Fiscal Years 2018-2019 and 2019-2020; and,

WHEREAS, there is need for the time to be extended.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council hereby extends the Grant Application and Authorization Act of 2018 to be effective for the fiscal year 2020 through the end of the fiscal year 2024.

EXTENSION OF GRANT APPLICATION AND AUTHORIZATION ACT OF 2018

Section 1.1. Short Title

This enactment shall be known as the "EXTENSION OF GRANT APPLICATION AND AUTHORIZATION ACT OF 2018".

Section 1.2. Purpose

The purpose of this act is to amend and extend the grant application and authorization act of 2018 to include more fiscal years than in the original act.

Section 1.3. Findings

The Council hereby finds and declares that:

(a) The Pueblo de San Ildefonso Tribal council passed the Grant Application and Authorization Act of 2018; and

(b) The act limited the time effect of the act to the Fiscal Years 2018-2019 and 2019-2020; and

(c) There is need for the time to be extended.

Section 1.4. Amendment

The Council hereby extends the Grant Application and Authorization Act of 2018 to be effective for the fiscal year 2020 through the end of the fiscal year 2024.

The foregoing resolution was duly voted upon by the Council on November 24, 2020, at a meeting with a vote of 9 in favor, 0 opposed, 0 abstaining and 1 absent (Governor presiding and not voting) pursuant to the authority vested in the Council by the Agreement of the Pueblo de San Ildefonso.
