Resolution No. SI-R20-028: Grievance Policy Revision Act
WHEREAS, the Pueblo de San Ildefonso has a law and order code; and,
WHEREAS, the Pueblo has a Personnel Policy in the code; and,
WHEREAS, the Personnel Policy has a Grievance Policy called Section 705 Grievances and Appeals; and,
WHEREAS, the Council and Administration had started to revise and update the Personnel Policy and found that the Grievance Policy needs to be revised; and,
WHEREAS, the Council and the Administration have worked to modify and update the Grievance Policy.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council hereby approves this act to change Section 705 Grievances and Appeals to read as the attached Section 705 Grievances and Appeals.
CERTIFICATION
The foregoing resolution was duly voted upon by the Council on December 29, 2020, at a meeting with a vote of 7 in favor, 0 opposed, 1 abstaining and 2 absent (Governor presiding and not voting) pursuant to the authority vested in the Council by the Agreement of the Pueblo de San Ildefonso.

GRIEVANCE POLICY REVISION ACT
Section 1.1. Short Title
This enactment shall be known as "GRIEVANCE POLICY REVISON ACT (Act)".
Section 1.2. Purpose
The purpose of this act is to modify and update Section 705 Grievances and Appeals of the Personnel Policy as contained in the Law and Order Code.
Section 1.3. Findings
The Council hereby finds that:
(a) The Pueblo de San Ildefonso has a law and order code; and
(b) The Pueblo has a Personnel Policy in the code; and
(c) The Personnel Policy has a Grievance Policy called Section 705 Grievances and Appeals; and
(d) The Council and Administration had started to revise and update the Personnel Policy and found that the Grievance Policy needs to be revised; and
(e) The Council and the Administration has worked to modify and update the Grievance Policy.
Section 1.4. Authorizations
The Council hereby passes this Act to change Section 705 Grievances and Appeals to read as the attached Section 705 Grievances and Appeals.
